Speaker Bio:

Alex is a seasoned leader, operator, and integrator whose career has been defined by developing people and building high‑performing teams. A former U.S. Army Sergeant, he led and trained soldiers in high‑pressure environments, shaping his belief that strong leadership is the foundation of any successful mission.
After his military service, Alex became the Operations Manager at College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving in Eden Prairie, where “Building Leaders” is a core organizational value. He leverages his military background and operational expertise to coach, mentor, and elevate the individuals in his care while upholding a high standard of process, discipline, and execution. This combination of leadership and structure has helped create a culture of accountability, growth, and team success.

While Alex oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the business, his greatest impact comes from developing others to lead. He equips crews to run their work like small businesses, empowering them to make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership—ensuring the operation thrives whether he is present or not.

About Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is a welcoming, year-round programming for anyone who’s “emerging” in their own way—within the Chamber, in the Southwest Metro area, in your career, role, or company. It’s not an age group; it’s a mindset. Our events bring together growth-minded professionals to share ideas, develop skills, and expand networks through casual happy hours, luncheons, and activity events. Whether you’re new to Eden Prairie, stepping into leadership, changing industries, or building influence where you are, you’ll find a supportive community here. All are invited—come as you are, connect with others, and leave with practical takeaways and new relationships.

Meet the Emerging Leaders Committee—the dedicated group of professionals who partner with Chamber staff to shape the vision, purpose, and programming of the Emerging Leaders network. Together, they help plan events, foster connections, and create meaningful opportunities for members to learn, grow, and lead.
