If you’ve ever shouted answers at your television during Family Feud or dreamed of spinning the big wheel on Wheel
of Fortune, there’s now a way to make that dream come true—right here in Eden Prairie.
Game Show Studio, located inside Eden Prairie Center, offers a one-of-a-kind, fully immersive entertainment experience that lets guests step into the game show spotlight. Groups of friends, families, or coworkers take center stage for a 60-minute show filled with energy, lights, laughter, and friendly competition—all led by professional hosts and producers who know how to make every moment shine.
From the Couch to the Spotlight
“Think of it as your favorite TV game shows brought to life,” explained Emma Polunsy, the new owner of Game Show Studio. “You set down the remote and step into the game.”
The studio gives guests the chance to play through a variety of reimagined versions of classic shows, from trivia and puzzle games to interactive challenges—all staged in a Hollywood-style studio, complete with applause, spotlights, and a golden microphone.
Executive Producer Jon Horsman describes it as “team building at a different level of immersive fun.”
“You learn so much about people by playing the games,” he said. “We’ve seen coworkers, families, and even 90-year-old grandparents laughing and competing together. It’s designed for everyone—not just trivia buffs—but anyone who wants to have fun and make memories.”
Meet the New Owner: Emma’s Story
Emma’s path to owning Game Show Studio is as dynamic as the show itself. A former college hockey player at St. Cloud State University, she grew up watching the Game Show Network daily with her teammates.
“When my dad and I started looking to purchase a business together, we thought we’d end up in something ordinary,” she said. “Then this opportunity came along—and it was just fun, creative, and community-oriented. Once I saw the shows in action, I knew immediately that we’d found something special.”
Her father, a longtime professional in the casino and entertainment industry, was equally drawn to the concept. Together, they’re bringing their shared vision to life—combining hospitality, teamwork, and pure joy into one unforgettable experience.
“Working with my dad has been a blessing,” Emma said. “He’s a great role model and leader, and our brainstorming never stops—even over dinner. The creativity just keeps flowing.”
The Hosts Make the Magic
A Game Show Studio experience wouldn’t be complete without its charismatic hosts. Jacksee, one of the studio’s longest-running and most popular hosts, brings a performer’s energy and audience-first approach to every show.
“I’ve been acting since I was young,” he said. “When I found Game Show Studio, it felt like a dream job. The laughter, the applause—it’s electrifying every single time.”
Jacksee has hosted since the early days of the original Roseville location and helped launch the new Eden Prairie studio in spring 2025. Over time, he’s watched the brand evolve into something bigger, sharper, and even more exciting.
“The production quality, the hosting talent, the overall vision—it’s all grown so much,” he shared. “And what’s cool is that every show is different. Even if guests come back multiple times, the games, the host, and the energy make each experience unique.”
Why It’s More Than Just a Game
Unlike bowling, axe-throwing, or escape rooms—where guests play individually—Game Show Studio offers a true team experience. Everyone in the room is part of the same show, cheering, competing, and collaborating together.
“Other entertainment options are individual activities done side-by-side,” Emma explained. “At Game Show Studio, you’re actually doing something together. You’re on a team, competing in the same experience—it’s collective energy.”
Game Show Studio also goes beyond in-studio events. Through their Road Show program, the team can bring the full game show experience directly to corporate offices, schools, senior centers, and conferences—complete with lights, games, and professional hosts.
Jon added, “We can take all the fun of the studio on the road—whether it’s a corporate retreat, a senior center showdown, or a 200-person conference event. It’s incredibly adaptable.”
Corporate Events, Parties, and Custom Experiences
Game Show Studio has become a favorite for corporate events, holiday parties, birthdays, and private celebrations. Their Eden Prairie location offers space for up to 100 guests, with on-site catering and bar service through partners like Fat Pants Brewing, Hop Spot Catering, Old Chicago, and Crave.
“We help businesses plan their entire event—from the show itself to food and drinks,” Jon said. “You can even customize your show with branded colors, special themes, or inside jokes.”
Each show can also be tailored to the audience—family-friendly, competitive, or even creatively offbeat depending on the group. “It’s all about creating an experience you’ll talk about long after the final round,” added Jacksee.
Memorable Moments and Local Impact
The team has hosted thousands of guests, but some moments stand out.
There was the guest who practiced for Wheel of Fortune—then returned weeks later to say Game Show Studio helped him win $125,000 on the real show. Another time, they created a personalized event for a lifelong game show fan with special needs—an experience that left everyone in the studio moved.
“Moments like that remind us why we do what we do,” Jon said. “It’s not about the bottom line—it’s about the joy we bring to people.”
What’s Next for Game Show Studio
With two locations—Roseville and Eden Prairie—and plans to expand, the future is bright for Game Show Studio. The team aims to continue building partnerships across the metro, including senior centers, corporate groups, and community events.
“Our goal is to keep creating experiences that bring people together, no matter their age or background,” Emma said. “Game shows are universal—they make everyone smile.”
