Three Mad Poppers is looking to add motivated, high-energy people to our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, reliable, coachable and looking for opportunities to grow with a new company. Shifts include weekday, evenings, and weekends. Shifts will be available 7 days per week plus holidays. 

Our cashiers/customer service clerk will meet each of our guests, help them with their selections and prepare their orders. Our clerks are responsible for engaging with customers in a professional, kind, and welcoming manner, while handling money correctly. If you like to keep busy and enjoy making people smile, our cashier/customer service position may be just the thing. 

Duties Include: Welcoming and taking customer orders, accurately handling sales transactions, packaging orders, stocking items, cleaning, maintaining appearance and cleanliness. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide welcoming and engaging customer service 

• Smile, have fun, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude 

• Work quickly while serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner 

• Reconcile cash and charged sales at end of shift to verify accuracy 

• Maintain food quality at Three Mad Poppers standards 

• Maintain cleanliness of the store and clean equipment/utensils

 • Maintain stock in retail areas 

• Prepare popcorn and package customer orders 

• Maintain scheduling commitments 

• Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications 

• Ability to stand a minimum of 4 hours per day 

• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds 

• Friendly and outgoing personality • Excellent verbal communication skills 

• Ability to problem solve as issues arise • Able to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed 

• A valid driver’s license/proof of insurance - Preferred 

You must be able to work weekends, no exceptions. We are busiest Thursday through Sunday and cannot guarantee all or multiple full weekends off. We can work with school schedules and other work schedules. 

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour + Tips 

Expected hours: 8 – 20hrs per week

Three Mad Poppers is a family owned gourmet popcorn business. We offer 30+ flavors and also specialize in creating different beer, cider, wine and spirit infused caramel popcorns by partnering with local breweries, cideries, wineries and distilleries. All of our popcorn is handmade and packaged in small batches using the highest quality ingredients. 

Three Mad Poppers was established in 2011 as a small food truck and event stand. The original owners attended many small events, festivals and farmers markets throughout the summer months and even wholesaled popcorn to small local boutiques. 

In 2018, the Price Family purchased Three Mad Poppers and continued attending small events, festivals and craft fairs. By early 2019, The Price’s embarked on a journey to open a retail storefront in Bloomington, MN. After 3 short years in Bloomington, we outgrew our tiny little space and were pushed to find a larger footprint. In early 2022, we closed our Bloomington storefront and moved operations west into a larger and more suitable production kitchen located in New Germany, MN. We continue to attend small events, festivals and farmers markets, but have grown our wholesale distribution to local breweries, boutiques and grocery stores. 

The Price Family has lofty goals for Three Mad Poppers over the next few years and is continuously looking to expand throughout the region. Our next step in the journey is adding a retail storefront to serve our local customers in Eden Prairie, MN. We are very excited for this expansion and are excited to add some great people to our team!
