Celebrate National Bike Month with Commuter Services
National Bike to Work Day is Friday, May 16, but biking for the commute or any other trip is a great way to travel anytime. Join Commuter Services in promoting biking as a sustainable travel mode during the month of May:
Bike Month Pledge: Pledge to try a sustainable commute (biking, carpool or vanpool, transit, walking or work from home) just once May 1-31 and be entered to win a Lectric Bikes Xpress 750 eBike, a $150 Visa gift card or a Bike Swag Bag.
Principles of Bike Safety webinar: Get free tips on bike safety from the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota in a free webinar scheduled for Friday, May 9, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Bike Month Celebration: Rain or shine, celebrate Bike Month 2025 with Commuter Services at Round Lake Park, 16691 Valley View Road, in Eden Prairie on Thursday, May 15, from 4-6 p.m.
Attendees can get free resources and area bike trail maps, learn how to put a bike on a bus/bike rack, take the Bike Month pledge, and visit information tables from community partners including BikeMN, MnDOT, SouthWest Transit and Three Rivers Parks District. Bikers can also take part in a guided ride of Round Lake’s trails, and families will want to stop by the Bike Decoration Station so kids can pick up some fun bling for their bikes.
