Hey there! Grace here, and I'm beyond excited to step into my new role as the Communications and Events Coordinator at the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce. It's an honor to join such a vibrant community of professionals dedicated to making a difference in Eden Prairie.

My journey to this position has been quite an adventure. Originally from Saint Cloud, MN, I was immersed in the Guang Ming Academy’s Chinese Immersion program. Growing up in a culturally diverse environment instilled in me a deep appreciation for cross-cultural understanding and effective communication, values that continue to guide me in my professional journey.

My academic pursuits led me to the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!), where I pursued Bachelor's degrees in Communication Studies, and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Chinese. As a recent graduate I've always been passionate about effective communication and cultural understanding.

My professional journey began with a communications internship at the Karen Organization of Minnesota, where I focused on social media management, website development, and newsletter creation. From there I moved on to a marketing internship at Gemini, Inc., where I immersed myself in marketing strategies and content creation. Each of these experiences equipped me with invaluable skills and insights into the power of communication in driving positive change.

In October of 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to share my insights and experiences on the TEDx stage. My TEDx Talk focused on the importance of cultural exchange and the role it plays in fostering empathy, understanding, and collaboration in our increasingly interconnected world.

Now, as I embark on this new chapter at the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce, I'm eager to bring my unique blend of skills, experiences, and passion for community engagement to the table. From executing events to crafting communication strategies, I'm committed to using my knowledge to enhance the Chamber's impact within the community.
