Orthopedic Institute Launches New Era in Minnesota Healthcare History

Chaska, Minn. — Nov. 15, 2023 --- Ridgeview and Twin Cities Orthopedics made Minnesota healthcare history today with the opening of the much-anticipated Orthopedic Institute on Ridgeview’s Chaska Campus.

Featuring a value-based partnership between an independent practice (TCO) and health system (Ridgeview), the Orthopedic Institute is a groundbreaking achievement that required collaboration, comprehensive planning, and new construction, resulting in this first of its kind orthopedics-focused hospital expansion.

To house the Orthopedic Institute, a fifth floor was added to the Two Twelve Medical Center. Renovations also occurred on the fourth floor to further accommodate the expanded clinical and support services, for a total of 54,000 additional square feet between the two floors.

The Orthopedic Institute features six state-of-the-art operating rooms exclusively for orthopedic surgeries, including elective joint replacements. These surgical spaces are equipped with the latest technology to support our commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our patients.

The Orthopedic Institute is designed to provide highly specialized orthopedic care within a hospital setting. With 20 private suites dedicated to inpatient post-surgical care and recovery, patients can expect the highest level of personalized care during their healing journey.
